The lagos state government has taken over the administration of all lagos parks and suspended the erstwhile NURTW operations in the state.
Governor Sanwo-olu stepped in to avert more crisis that had taken over the union in recent times.
Security was immediately beefed up at most of the parks after the Lagos State chairman of NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya also known as Mc Oluomo, was suspended by the National Body, which also led to the Lagos State branch, pulling out of the union.
The Government says it will set up a Committee made up of stakeholders to run the administration of the parks and garages.
However, a message from the government's press secretary calls for a disregard of information indicating that any appointment as been made on who to head the parks.
