... As Peace Movement Heads to Eastern Obolo, Mkpat Enin, Ikot Abasi LGAs, tomorrow
An exciting air of jubilation is already blowing across the nooks and crannies of Eastern Obolo, Mkpat Enin and Ikot Abasi Local Government Areas ahead of the inauguration of the Steering Committee for these Local Government Areas tomorrow.
Our correspondent who has been monitoring preparations across the three LGAs reports that the indigenes are already in high spirits and are expecting the arrival of the high-powered State Delegation billed to grace the event tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a media release by the Director of Publicity for the Maintain Peace Movement, Comrade Ini Ememobong indicates that the Inauguration Train will first arrive Eastern Obolo Council Headquarters, Okorotte on Friday Morning by 10 'clock.
The Director of Publicity says the train will depart Okorotte in Eastern Obolo after the inauguration and head towards Mkpat Enin for the inauguration which is slated for Midday at the Local Government Council Headquarters.
The train will finally arrive Ikot Abasi by 1pm for the final leg of the inauguration event for the day.
The inauguration will be done under strict compliance with the Covid-19 preventive protocols.
The Statement invites all indigenes of the 3 Local Government Areas as well as lovers of Peace to attend.
