Rotn Sanjeev Tandon urge Nigerians and other nationals in Nigeria to embrace Nigeria as home

The Chairman, Rotary International District 9110 Governor Installation 2020/2021 Year Planning Committee and the Immediate Past Vice President Projects, Kewalram Chanrai Group Ltd., PHF Rotn. Sanjeev Tandon has urged Nigerians and other nationals resident in Nigeria, to be very much patriotic and dogged in their strides to re-discover the immense economic and political potentials the country over as well as to genuinely and transparently, galvanize such for the economic and political meaningful transformation of the nation, while the leaders in authority must create such constructive, positive will and endowment of the national political and economic growth and expansion, to make Nigeria such great entity among the comity of vibrant economic nations, where no man is oppressed as well as with the immense adequate dividends of democracy for all at all times.

Rotn. Sanjeev Tandon, currently the Secretary, Indian Community Cultural Association in Nigeria, also pleaded with the leaders in authority to please create such very viable enabling environment with such viable roadmap for all concerned to effectively, constructively, conveniently access such worthy immense assets of tapped and other numerously, yet untapped which could be produced and gainfully manufactured to the best, vibrant economic advantage and sustenance of her growth and expansion for the gainful employment of the teeming masses when fully tapped, such as Agricultural and mineral resources and potentials nationwide.

The former President, Rotary Club of Lagos Island and currently, the Assistant District 9110 Governor, Rotary International, PHF Rotn. Sanjeev Tandon, made these remarks during his maiden courtesy call on HRM. Kabiyesi Oba Adedeji Onagoruwa and his wife, Olori Esther Ekundayo Onagoruwa at his Palace in Odogbolu, Ogun State.

Extoling the sterling virtues of the Monarch and the chequered, High Profile History of Odogbolu Community as well as the highly esteemly revered Sons and Daughters of the town, together with his very standing relationship with them among whom are the Retired Chief of General Staff, Lt. Gen. Oladipo Diya (Rtd), an accomplished Elder Statesman of no mean repute, along with a distinguished Knight of John Wesley, Methodist Church Nigeria, Sir (Prof) Tola Atinmo KJW, the Dean of Faculty of Human Nutrition University of Ibadan; Asiwaju Gbenga Oludemi, Former President, Odogbolu Community Development Council; a Retired Director, Crown Flour Mills Ltd., Apapa, now Senior Executive, Olam Group Ltd., High Chief (Retired Captain) Sunny Adegbuyi, the current President, Odogbolu Community Development Council (OCDC) and other notable personalities that passed out from the Odogbolu Grammar School, Odogbolu when he reminded the Kabiyesi of his pledge fulfillment to the school on behalf of his previous Club, the Rotary Club of Lagos Island as well as inaugurate other community empowerment programmes to alleviate its challenges promptly and subsequently too, especially with the active spontaneous cooperation and assistance of the Indian Community resident in Nigeria, Rotary International District 9110 and the Inner Wheel District 911 among others, whose veins flow with passion to actively assist others.

Welcoming the distinguished guests to the Palace, the Monarch, Kabiyesi HRM Oba Adedeji Onagoruwa and his wife, the Olori Esther Ekundayo Onagoruwa, expressed their profound gratitude to the August distinguished guest, PHF Rotn. Sanjeev Tandon on his Club and personal viable contributions to date, especially the donation of the Odogbolu Grammar School’s Science Laboratory equipments and valuable furniture by the Rotary Club of Lagos Island, under his Presidency and the financial pledge to the indigent pupils of the school at the commissioning by the Retired Chief of General Staff, Lt. Gen. Oladipo Diya (Rtd), an old student of the school, at the occasion.

To this end, the Monarch assured the distinguished guests of the community gesture of a traditional title in profound appreciation by the community with his wife, Rotn. Geetika as soon as all arrangements are completed for the event.

Highlight of the August visit was the donation of some palliatives of food items with some toiletries to cushion the pandemic.
