The PDP Ward Congress for Uyo Local Government Area,
Ward 8 took place today at Community Secondary School, Ikot Okubo Offot.
The Commissioner for Environment and Petroleum
Resources, Sir Charles Udoh, joined other ward Executives and Party faithfuls
to participate in the Ward Congress where Comrade Akaninyene Eyo was confirmed
as the People's Democratic Party(PDP) Councillorship Aspirant for Ward 8.
Sir Udoh, while thanking the Ward Executives for the
smooth conduct of the Congress, appealed to all party faithfuls to remain
united and work towards the success of the Party in the forthcoming Local
Government Election.
