The Chairman, Senate committee on Culture, Arts and tourism, representing Imo west senatorial district; Distinguished Sen. Rochas Okorocha yesterday in his office at the national assembly, Abuja, received in audience the delegation from Nigerian Students Parliament (NSP) led by the National Speaker of NSP; Rt.Hon. Mubarak Aliyu Rimi.
Distinguished senator Okorocha congratulated the Nigerian Students Parliament speaker on his emergence and promised to support his administration in any capacity required of him.
There was a lofty session of brainstorming on programs and strategies to integrate NSP members with members of the national assembly in order to effects cordial relationship between the studentdom and the federal lawmakers.
Sen. Rochas Okorocha at a time in history was the Governor of the Imo State, a position he served out before emerging a federal lawmaker.
The chairman of the NSP board of trustees who doubles as the Deputy Chairman of Mbaitoli LGA of Imo state (the youngest deputy chairman in Nigeria) ; Rt.Hon. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel facilitated the courtesy visit.
