Mojisola Sowunmi: Interceding for nations and inspiring women through Deborah’s ministry

Mojisola Sowunmi, a graduate of Accounting from Lagos State University, is the founder of Deborah’s Ministry Globally, a faith-driven movement devoted to intercession for nations and souls. Established on June 10, 2021, the ministry will celebrate its fourth anniversary this year. At the heart of its mission is the commitment to spread the gospel, win souls, and transform
lives through fervent prayers and intercession.

Mojisola’s journey into ministry was born from a deep love for Jesus Christ. From a young age, she found herself drawn to the things of God, delighting in Christian gatherings and connecting with like-minded believers. Her passion for God’s work has only intensified over the years.

She acknowledges that the path of following Christ isn’t without its challenges. "To follow Christ is not easy," she shares, "but it takes the grace of God and the help of the Holy Spirit." These trials, however, have been instrumental in building her faith, courage, and unwavering strength in Christ.

Under her leadership, Deborah’s Ministry has grown through impactful outreach efforts, including evangelism, prison ministrations, support for widows and orphans, and inspiring single mothers. Mojisola also serves as a nation intercessor, praying consistently for global transformation and peace.

Her heart beats especially for women in ministry. She believes that churches must nurture women’s callings by supporting them spiritually, physically, and financially. “You have to believe in their vision and mission,” she says, “and walk with them as they pursue their God-given assignments.”

As a female minister, Mojisola has experienced countless blessings, grace, mercy, love, divine provision, protection, and breakthrough, each a testament to God's faithfulness. She draws inspiration from renowned women of faith, including the late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, Kathryn Kuhlman, Pastor Funke Adejumo, Evangelist Bola, Pastor Deborah Jones Erue, and Joyce Meyer.

To young girls and women, her message is simple yet profound: “Make God your everything. Love Jesus deeply, trust and believe in Him, stay faithful to His word, and carry that faithfulness into your marriages and daily lives.”

Through Deborah’s Ministry Globally, Mojisola Sowunmi continues to shine as a beacon of hope, nurturing souls and inspiring women to rise boldly in their divine callings.
