Hon Ashimiu Afeez Adio hail APC Leaders on smooth transmission of power

Honourable Ashimiu Afeez Adio, a popular member of the Next-level consolidation forum for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023, has hailed APC Leaders across the country, for the smooth transmission of power from erstwhile President Muhammmadu Buhari, to new President Bola Tinubu.

Hon. Afeez Adio, who hails from Egbeda/Ona Ara constituency said that, the success of the recent elections and the smooth transition of power to a new government, is a good omen for the country.

"This indeed is a great success on it's own and it is an exciting time for the country, to move forward in people and in business growth and development. I celebrate this milestone with all Nigerians and in the same breath, congratulate our APC Leaders for making this dream to become a good reality," said Adio.

It could be recalled that, though Adio's father was an influential member of the party AD, Afeez Adio became more significantly attached to a political party, that is the All Progressives Congress Party (APC) in 2014, when he fully took interest  in the Party affairs in his Egbeda/Ona Ara constituency. Since then, a naturally philanthropic person, he set about empowering people in the constituency.

"My people have always been benefiting from my biennial empowerment through skills acquisition training organize by my foundation. We have so far trained women/young men in 10 different products making enterprises and given grants to more than 3000 people. I also support my constituents at the point of need monthly through my Gift-The-Needy monthly subventions.

"So at a point, I decided that if I could singularly do all that, then it meant I could do more if I contested for political office, I believed the sky is the limit in terms of how much more my people stand to benefit from me representing them at the National Assembly," said Adio.

And he did contest. He aspired to the House of Representatives still under the platform of APC.

"But as an illustrious son of my constituency, I don’t believe in politics of division rather, i emphasise inclusion and party supremacy in all my dealings in my political sphere," he said.

So he allowed the will and choice of the party leaders in his constituency to prevail.

"All in all, it is victory to democracy. This transition is victory to us all and more importantly, it us a great victory to our party leaders and I congratulate them all for this new beginning," he added.
