ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY SET TO HONOUR RAS KIMONO WITH A MEMORIAL DAY


The Nigerian music and entertainment industry is set to honour late reggae maestro Ras Kimono, with a Memorial Day celebration.


Monday June 10, has been dedicated for this purpose along with programmes. At 10 am on June 10, a Memorial Public lecture has been scheduled to take place at COSON house at Ikeja, to be delivered by ex Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, Prof Duro Oni, while in the evening, a Memorial Jam will take place at the Niteshift Coliseum.

Ras Kimono whose birth name was Oseloke Augustine Onwubuya, died on June 10, 2018.

He was an artiste that was dedicated to his talent. His debut 'Under Pressure' had hits like 'Rum-Bar Stylee' and followed by others.
