Lagos socialite and Group C.E.O of Red
Africa, Adebola Williams, in his characteristic manner, hosted corporate
executives and top officials from the public sector, at his Lagos home during
the Ramadan.
Surprisingly the top advertising practitioner,
who is a Christian, had as his guest at the event, Kabir Aregbesola, son of ex
Osun Governor Rauf Aregbesola. Also present were, Abdulrasheed Muri Okunola,
son of the late Justice Muri-Okunola of Osun State; Muhammed Dikko of South
Africa embassy; Group Chief Finance Officer of Rainoil, Naheemah Adediran, Hip
TV Ayo Animasaun and many others including expatriates from different
organizations.
Speaking on why he always wants to
identify with his Muslim friends during Ramadan, Debola said, “beyond religious
leaning, I see myself first as a Nigerian and same goes to my friends, whether
Muslim or Christian or family members.”
He added that in line with the spirit of the season, it is most pleasant
to extend love to our Muslim brothers, sisters, friends and associates.
