In a renewed show of partnership between Nigeria and the People’s Republic of China, Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, alongside his wife, Mrs. Laila Charani Nwoko, visited the Chinese Embassy in Abuja to formally present MNS Travel & Tours Ltd to His Excellency, Ambassador Yu Dunhai.
Senator Nwoko, who has long championed international cooperation and Igbo unity, reflected on the same spirit that the Igbo and Chinese share in their resilience, adaptability and commitment to enterprise and community growth. He encouraged the Embassy to continue creating an enabling environment for Nigerians in China, especially the Igbo community, who have contributed positively to business, culture and innovation abroad. He also emphasized the importance of collaboration in areas such as skills acquisition, youth empowerment and tourism development.
He further remarked that the efforts of the current administration, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, have created more opportunities for tourism growth, youth engagement and bilateral collaboration.
“MNS is ready to contribute meaningfully to the bridge between our people. Travel is not just movement across borders. It is connection, culture and commerce, and it aligns with national goals of building prosperity through partnership,” he said.
Mrs. Laila Charani Nwoko, Chief Executive Officer of MNS Travel & Tours, expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for the warm reception and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to structured, safe and responsible travel between both countries. She commended Senator Nwoko for his unwavering support and vision, noting that his leadership continues to inspire inclusivity and strong community ties across Nigeria and the Igbo nation.
Ambassador Yu Dunhai welcomed the visit and acknowledged the value of improving accessible travel and cultural exchange between Nigeria and China. He assured that sincere efforts toward collaboration are always appreciated and that people-to-people engagement strengthens the broader diplomatic relationship.
MNS Travel & Tours, headquartered in Abuja, continues to position itself as a reputable facilitator for international travel, cultural immersion and tourism solutions that reflect Nigeria’s growth and global outlook.
