It wasn't really her first visit to La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River And Beach Resort in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. And neither was it her second visit, nor her third, but here she was again enthralled and totally captivated by the beauty of the resort which has now remained so dear to her heart.

She confessed she loves nature. Yes, she was ready to lap it all, if that really was possible! The African crafts, the African designs of clothing and architecture which stares one in the face wherever one turned at the 65 acres beach front resort. The simplicity of the environment, yet oozing with enchanting African themed luxury.

The green leaves, the thick mangrove forest which scares no one. The sight of the monkeys who are so visible, yet lives in their own world, ignoring quite totally the humans who walk around their kingdom with ease and comfort.

The birds that wake you up with their chirpy sonorous songs and voices in the morning. And you can watch as they fly all around you during the day! The beach weather which changes as it soothes the sky. The sunrise and the sunset, glorious nature moments to watch out for as the colours blends or stands out from the imaginary carpeted floors of the sky, the massive water of the restless ocean always in a hurry to rush to the shores. The quiet still water of the lagoon.

But this time around, nature had a shock for the visiting African Tourism Board Global Ambassador Peace Nwankaego Onuiri.

As if anticipating her arrival, the fresh water of the lagoon, which was full to its brim few days earlier, dried up to its bottom, and by the time the Ambassador arrived and woke next day, she was in total shock! The lagoon for the first time ever, invited her to a dry land.

Initially scared and dazed by such amazing wonder of nature, Ambassador Peace walked cautiously into the space that she once knew as a massive river, but sooner gained confidence to walk on the floor of the lagoon and suddenly in sheer excitement, she ran into the dried grounds of the lagoon, calling out that she should be captured on tape and photos in other to keep the memory!

But not done with her, the Lagoon-walk, took her around another corner of the entire stretch, where a fat golden fish awaited her to be captured as a live present from the exotic fun filled La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River And Beach Resort.

Trust Ambassador Peace to celebrate a treasure! She flaunted her golden fish present from the lagoon, with gusto, lavish drama and ceremony with much photos and videos opportunity!

And that was great fun and great moment for good entertainment for everyone who was there, amongst them, His Excellency, the Secretary General of African Union Sixth Region Global, Ambassador Dr. Macaulay O. Kalu, her daughters, Nelson Rex and staff of the resort, as she shared her joyful moment of blessing from the lagoon with the Founder of the resort, Tourism Icon, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye.

Days after, Ambassador Peace was still relishing on her re-discovery of La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River And Beach Resort. "Here, you can never have enough of the pleasures of life and nature, because it is so much in abundance," she said.

Ofcourse, she added that, she's looking forward to be back for IPADA INITIATIVES CELEBRATIONS starting from November 28th to December 7th, this year, 2025 at same venue, La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River And Beach Resort, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
