Youths clash at Abuja EndSARS memorial protest, Sowore chased

After a successful street protest in Abuja this morning, pockets of youths clashed as another youth group seemed to have emerged to counter Sowore's led protest group.

It will be recalled that the police had initially stopped the youth protesters from advancing towards their destination which was said to have been the National Assembly.

So while the youths still gathered at the Unity Fountain, another youth group emerged. It could not be confirmed who their sponsors was, but they seemed to have caused enough trouble as it was later said by eyewitness that they chased Sowore out of Unity Fountain.

However, another eyewitness told us that, "the youths belong to a group known as Nigerian Emerging Leaders and they numbered over 100 and they have chased Sowore Omoyele, Adeyanju Deji and their group out of the Unity fountain Abuja now."
