The Mass Movement Support Sub committee includes tested and trusted party faithfuls in the persons of: Governor Abdulahi Sule of Nasarawa state, former Governor Ibikunle Amosun, former Senators Adesoji Akanbi, Musiliu Obanikoro, as well as Hon Abba Jatua, and Hon. Usani Uguru Usani.
Others are , Hon. Makinde Peter Abiola, Chief. (Mrs). IfyUgo-Okoye, Benedict Godson, Ideato C Ideato.
The task for the Mass Movement Support Sub Committee for the party among others, includes, making APC the Party for all Nigerians through: exploring ways and means of reaching out to party supporters, to ensure their support is not waning; research and finding ways to make the party attractive to youths and women who constitutes the major voting bloc in Nigeria; creating a framework for headhunting talented individuals from different parts of the country to enhance the pull of talent within the party.
The committee is also to work at the national level, to solicit the good will of major religious groups such as; CAN, Catholic Bishops Conference, ULAMA, Students Union Leadership and other such organisations.
While also creating the basis for viable relationship with the apex organs of the various socio-cultural groupings in the country, working in synergy with the regional sub-committees and establishing creative ways of reaching teenagers who will in the nearest future mature into the voting population.
And at the same time suggest other ideas or initiative that can enhance APC’s stature as a mass oriented party.
More importantly, is that the committee should revive the popularity that brought in President Mohammadu Buhari in year 2015 through enhancing APC’s stature as a mass oriented party.
