Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, Sound Sultan is dead. According to release from the family, the popular Nigerian musician, died of angioimmunoblastic t-cell lymphoma which is said to be throat cancer.
Sound Sultan whose real name was Lanre Fasasi, died at 44. Popularly also remembered for his song ‘Jagbajantis,' Sound Sultan was also an actor and a comedian who influenced many youths and children positively with his artistic nature.
And in many ways Sound Sultan was regarded as one of the pacesetters of modern hip hop music in Nigeria.
