FADE Africa in conjunction with Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency (@DSCTDA) on Thursday, flagged off of a Public Garden at Dla Junction in commemoration of 2021 World Desertification and Drought Day.
According to a statement from FADE Africa, this is the first phase of a city wide project to create little gardens all around Asaba, Delta State and environs.
"This project is also a part of the Forest Rangers Initiative: Little gardens today, little forests tomorrow, a mandate that promotes the planting of tree to restore ecosystems and combat desertification in various parts of Nigeria and hopefully, Africa," added the statement.
