At several parishes of the Celestial Church of Christ in Lagos yesterday Sunday, more tears flowed freely for Dubai-based Socialite Kayode Badru who died last week at one of the church parish.
Tongues wagged as people recalled and played back the story repeatedly.
The story goes that: “Kayode Badru was holding a candle then the prophet of the church, Felix Alebiosu, sprayed perfume on his body from his head to toe. Within a few minutes, his body caught fire. He suffered severe burns and was rushed to a hospital in Gbagada, Lagos, where died.”
The incident is said to have happened on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
He was also said to have come to Nigeria, to celebrate with 40 students he gave scholarships, who were graduating.
