Today, Wednesday 22nd July, 2020, the Chief of Army staff, Federal Republic of Nigeria; Lt.Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai laughed in public for the 4th time since he assumed office as Chief of Army staff.
The occasion was at the venue of
the commissioning of the remodeled NAIC officers transit quarters, WU Bassey Barracks, Asokoro in Abuja, which was facilitated by the Chief of Military Intelligence; Maj.Gen. Sunday A. Adebayo.
The National President of the Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria (ELFON); Hon. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel had arrived the venue with a life size portrait painting of Lt.Gen. Tukur Y. Buratai's Image, an Art work that is today adjudged by the National Council for Arts and Culture as one of the most professionally detailed works of Art in the history of Nigeria's Art Exhibitions.
On sighting the Artwork, Buratai jumped up from his seating position as he laughed out Astonishingly.
"I remember the CMI gave Godstime my photograph for this but I never expected it to be this perfect," he said and added, "what a great Ambassador of Nigerian Youths he is."
And top military officers (Army, Navy, Airforce) also commended the good work of the gifted great Artist Godstime. And there was a rain of promises for more work for him at the occasion.
Artist Godstime responding, thanked the Chief of Army staff for being a lover of Art.
