Philanthropic minded Senator Adesoji Akanbi in his
peculiar nature to reach out to the less privileged in the society, has
launched a Feed-A-Soul Programme through his foundation called Rilwan Adesoji
Akanbi Foundation based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
The programme basically, is to take care of the feeding
of those in want of food during these last days of the Ramadan fasting. The
Senator we hear has put everything in place to ensure that orderliness and
procedural comfort, takes place in the designated centers of the programme.
In addition to the feeding programme, beneficiaries of
the RAAF Ramadan Philanthropic gesture will also have access to health support
from the Foundation wherever necessary or required.
Senator Adesoji Akanbi, who is also the Okanlomo of
IbadanLand is not new to such philanthropic gestures. In the last few months of
the arrival of the Covid-19 cases in Nigeria, and the eventual lockdown of the
economy, the Senator has been at the forefront of distribution of Covid-19
palliatives to the public, especially in Oyo state where he hails from.
And these palliatives have not been limited to
individuals alone, but to groups and institutions.
