Coronavirus patient's attempt to escape: Health worker calls for upgrade of centre

Health worker who refuses to disclose name confirms that a patient whose is under watch, chose to escape from the Lagos isolation centre. The health worker also confirmed excessive heat and mosquito bites at the centre.

"Obviously, the patient was reacting to the environmental condition of the centre which does not tally to his usual lifestyle."

The health worker suggested that the government should enhance the facility or raise standards at the centre to tally with the expectations of the patient which will curtail such attempt to escape from the centre and others that may be brought in there.
