FIRST LAGOS GOVERNOR, MOBOLA JOHNSON IS DEAD

The first military governor of Lagos state is dead. Brig. Gen Mobola Johnson Rtd. died yesterday, after a brief illness. He was 83.

He left the army early in 1975 to set up his private business and later joined Julius Berger the construction company where he rose to be the Chairman.
