The Executive
Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Dr Mojeed Alabi Balogun marked his birthday
amidst joyous celebration with friends, families, work colleagues and
associates. The birthday celebration started with a grand entry of the Chairman
into the premises of the Ikeja House, Office complex of the Executive Chairman,
where he received a rousing welcome by the entire management staff, Executive
Members and Legislative Council of Ikeja Local Government Council.
The birthday party
itself started with a prayer session for the Chairman by Islamic clerics. The special
prayers were offered for the gift of life and for successful sojourn in the
political administration of Ikeja Local Government.
The management
Staff of the Council ably led the Council-Manager, Mrs Mosunmola Otaiku-Okoka said
the Chairman is someone who is worthy to be celebrated at any given time, most
especially on the occasion which marks his birthday.
The Executive members of the Council generally see the apex boss of theCouncil as a rare and unique individual. To them, the Chairman is someone ofhigh inestimable value who always wants each and every member of the Executive members of the council to succeed in their areas of endeavours.
The Legislative arm of the Council ably led by the Leader of the House, Hon Adebowale Adetoro rejoicefully celebrated the Chairman on the occasion of his birthday. And so did the entire Legislative Councilors representing each of the Ikeja Local Government areas.
Others who came
to celebrate with Dr Mojeed Alabi Balogun on his birthday included; members of
the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ikeja Division, Staff of
Access Bank Plc, Awolowo way Branch, Ikeja Babes as led by Blessing Omogenafen,
Women leaders of Ikeja APC, and a host of other well-meaning friends and
families of the Council Chairman.
