Yes, the cerebral giant of the law profession pulled all stops to celebrate his 80th birthday held in Lagos.
Prof Olawoyin's glorious entry into the octogenarian club began with a thanksgiving service at the prestigious Archbishop Vining Memorial Church, Ikeja, Lagos.
The elaborate event witnessed the presence of the high and mighty in the society including the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu; former Osun State governorship candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore;Chairman, Elizade Group, Chief Micheal Ade-Ojo, Chief Alex Duduyemi, Chairman, First City Monument Bank, Otunba Michael Subomi Balogun, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, Olori Ladun Sijuwade, Prince Tokunbo Sijuwade, Prince Damola Aderemi, Mr. Gbenga Olunloyo, Chief Alex Duduyemi, Chief S. O. Babalola, Chairman, First City Monument Bank, Otunba Subomi Balogun, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, General Alani Akinrinade (rtd), Alhaja Yeye Bose Adedibu, Chief John Odeyemi and Prince Rasaq Adewole.
A grand reception followed shortly after the thanksgiving service at the Haven Event Centre, Ikeja, where dignitaries and other guests were treated to first-class cuisine as MC Ajele kept the atmosphere lively.
In his remarks, Chief Ade-Ojo, eulogised the celebrant, describing him as a man of many parts.
Guests were thrilled by Big Bolaji and his band while Bola Giwa of Freshwaves dropped exciting old skool jams from the Wheels of Steel.
