For those who are not in the know, Seyi Bamigbade the National Cordinator of BUHARI-OSINBAJO HOPE MOVEMENT is not a new face to politics in Lagos.
Born on October 10th 1979 to the family of Pa Reuben Kehinde Bamigbade at No 21, Ayige Street, Orile, Agege in Lagos State, his Mother Mrs. Christiana Kehinde Bamigbade (nee Salako) was a popular woman of Awori descent in Lagos, from Mologedes Meiran Compound at Alimosho Local Government in Lagos State (a Christian Family).
Seyi Bamigbade started his educational pursuit at Ifako International School, Iju Road, Agege, Lagos and Orile Agege Primary School, Orile Agege, Lagos State, where he received his First School Leaving Certificate and Iyewa High School, Orile Agege, and then Lagos State for his Secondary School Education in year 1990.
He sat for West Africa Examination Council in 1990, later got admission into Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State. He bagged an Advance Diploma in Computer Science from International Global Institute Computer College in 2001.
Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos granted Seyi Bamigbade admission for Programme of Professional Certificate in Communication and Writing Skills till-date.
His work experience began with the Lagos State Universal Basic Educational Board (SUBEB) where he served as Librarian at State Primary School Onipetesi. He later served as Project Director to Hon. Yemi Adedeji then National House of Assembly, Alimosho Federal Constituency in 2007, where he coordinator the 6 Local Council Development of the Alimosho Local Council.
In his effort to empower and mobilize more people in the political garden in Lagos state, he spearheaded and empowerment programme tagged: Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Organisation (BATCO) Empowerment Programme in 2001 under the leadership of Cardinal James Omolaja Odumbaku (Baba Eto).
He joined the political train and pitched tent with the progressive fold on the platform Alliance for Democracy, Seyi Bamgbade was the state co-ordinator of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu National Forum, pioneer youth President of Mayegun Forum a political youth in Alimosho Local Government. His determination to served humanity he also joined the Great Ambassador of Alimosho Federal Constituency under leadership Hon. Jimoh Ajao.
Seyi has been supporting Party Members through his various ideals and in many other instances, donated items to his party office both State, Agbado Oke Odo L.G.A and his Ward G. Since then Seyi Bamigbade has never moved out of the Progressive platform under the leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ACN, APC).
In recent general election, Seyi Bamigbade voluntarily mobilized Lagosians for Governor Babajide Sanwolu across 57 Local Councils of Lagos State under his political group Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard, later organized a movement to Support President Muhammed Buhari re-election (BUHARI-OSINBAJO HOPE MOVEMENT) were he served as the National Co-ordinator till date.
Convener , Bola Ahmed Tinubu Charitable Trust, a Voluntary Organization to support the Administration of our National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu when he was the Executive of Lagos State In year 1999.
More so, he has been in various media Communication Firms like the D` Fash Magazine, monitoring the project of then Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) in 2007 to 2015.
As a Media Guru he also served as a Publisher of Lagos Image Magazine which checking the project of the then Governor of Lagos State Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode 2015-2019.
Seyi Bamigbade has also spearheaded a South West Agricultural Programme tagged Ojaja II Ooni of Ife South West Empowerment Scheme on the Leadership of Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, a Nigerian merchant and the traditional ruler of the Yoruba Kingdom .
Also, he organized Oranmiyan Youth Leadership Summit in State Osun to mobilize support for re-election of Agbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Likewise, he organized Lagos State National Image Empowerment Programme in Partnership with Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) in 2006, where 5700 Beneficiary were empowered in the 20 Local Government and 37 Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.
He has received several awards, Awori Descedant Merit Award in 2002, Alimosho Man of the year Award in 2005, National Youth Motivator Award in 2005, Lagos Mega City Leadership Award in 2011, Service to the Nation Award presented by the Presidency Congress of Nigerian Youth in 2019.
Seyi is a member of all progressive Congress till date with Membership Card No: 11100533, President Awori Youth Movement, Member – Yoruba Elite Club, Kegeti Social Club, Lagos Movement Club, Alimosho Conscience Hope Movement.
A member of the Christian body of Christ, the popular Celestial Church Of Christ. He is happily married to Bukola Olashile Bamgbide and blessed with three children.
