A total of 145 Nigerians, were returned home from Libya aboard a chartered flight Monday night, through the indefatigable efforts of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) and facilitated by IOM under the EU/IOM Return and Reintegration initiative.
After the chartered flight landed lagos, in its characteristic manner, the returnees were received and successfully, profiled.
The breakdown of returnees on the flight was as follows: 9 infants, 2 children, 35 female adults and 99 male adults. A total of 145 Nigerians.
The reception exercise was coordinated by National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons and facilitated by IOM under the EU/IOM Return and Reintegration initiative.
Also on ground were officers from NAPTIP and other partner agencies.
