It was another hectic night for officials of The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) as the agency along with others received another set of arrivals of 174 Nigerians from Libya last night at approximately 10 pm under the EU/IOM project.
Among them were 23 children and 11 infants. The NCFRMI which is the lead agency in Migration was on the ground with other stakeholders. These stakeholders are the Nigerian Immigration Service, NAPTIP, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs amongst others.
Working hand in hand, these agencies co-ordinated the arrival of the 174, and documented same as the returnees who were overwhelmed with joy at their coming back home, alighted from the chartered aircraft.
