Heavy security and restriction of movement were noticed in different parts of Lagos state this morning as preparation for the Governorship and the State Assembly elections re-echoes.
Stern-looking army officers have been reported to be positioned in different locations around the state, around several roads as early as 6 a.m to effect the restriction order.
"This is unlike the Feb. 23 Presidential and National Assembly election, which had only a few areas blocked by the army officers and commercial vehicles drivers were seen manoeuvring their way." Said a report.
Meanwhile, the election mood was already in place in most part of the state as at the time of filing this report.
