AMBODE'S WIFE MOBILISES WOMEN AT DOOR TO DOOR CAMPAIGN FOR SANWOOLU

The wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs Bolanle Ambode, has urged women to vote for the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during the forthcoming governorship election on Saturday.

Mrs Bolanle Ambode who left no stone un-turned during the Lagos Progressive Vanguard Door to Door Campaign which is still on-going in Epe, Isolo, Itire Ikare Iru Victoria Island and other parts of the State, adding that the APC held women in high esteem.

Mrs Ambode while mobilising the women, urged them to vote for Mr Babajide Sanwoolu in order to benefit more from empowerment and gains from the dividends of democracy. She also promised that should Babajide Sanwo-Olu be elected on Mar 9, 2019, more women would be economically empowered by his administration.

“That is why you women should do more by coming out in large numbers and cast your votes to ensure that Babajide Sanwo-Olu become the next Lagos State Governor with Millions Votes.”

She said Babajide Sanwo-Olu had promised to include women in his government, just as was done by my husband, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode administration in Lagos State.

The governor’s wife, who described the ruling All Progressive Congress as the light, said darkness and light are incompatible.

According to her, voting for the APC is a vote for more progress, adding that the PDP, which she referred to as darkness, died in the state since 2015.

While donating souvenirs for the Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dapo Hamzat Door to Door Campaign to the Convener of the Lagos Progressive Movement, Mr Seyi Bamigbade, Bolanle said Nigerians have become wise by rejecting the PDP.

‘’Before 2015 general elections, Nigeria was under siege, as nobody knew what would happen the next day. But because of the persistent prayers of Nigerians, today, the scenario has changed for the better.”

She added that, “Today, no government has impacted positively on women like APC-led government since 1999. This is because at the beginning, we promised an all-inclusive government. That is why we have women participation in the present APC administration in Lagos State.”
