Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya celebrates in a new style … hosts 5000 muslims for 79th birthday

Just as we hinted weeks back, society folks were not disappointed with Chief Razak Akanni Okoya's 79th birthday celebration which took place few days ago. It was a two day celebration that witnessed a steady flow of  philanthropists, Industrialists, business moguls, activists, eminent personalities, media, friends, family and well wishers to the magnificent and outlandish estate, “Oluwa Ni Sola” (The Lord creates wealth) home of the industrialist and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of one of Nigeria’s largest conglomerates, the Eleganza Group, located along Lekki/Ajah Expressway in Lagos. On those two days, Chief (Dr.) Rasaq Okoya held sway, playing a proper host to his guests.
 
A day to his birthday which was the 11th of January, a Jumat prayer service took place at the estate, along with the recitation of the Holy Quran. While on the next day being 12th of January, a huge number of people totalling about 5000, gathered at the overwhelming estate to witness the industrialist's birthday celebration. Okoya successfully hosted the 5000 people, mostly muslim faithfuls to a dinner. The high point of these celebration was when Chief Razak Akanni Okoya gave out clothes, packed food, bread, garri and rosary cash gifts to the guests, the muslim faithfuls.

All through both events, his lovely wife Chief (Dr.) Mrs Sade Okoya was visibly present to support her husband and assisted with the entertainment of guests.
