Golfers from Ikoyi Golf Club are presently in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, where they will be having a match play with Ibom Golf Club.
Welcoming them to Akwa Ibom state, the Secretary to the state government Dr Emmanuel Ekukwem who represented the governor, said the golfers were most welcomed to the most peaceful state in the country.
The Captain of Ibom Golf Club Rt Hon Usenobong Akpabio was also on hand to welcome the Ikoyi Golf Club team.
The weekend programme for the golfers also includes a dinner with the governor, H.E Udom Emmanuel.
