NAPTIP Issues Red Card To Human Traffickers In Abuja Football Novelty Match Tomorrow

The National Agency for the Prohibition
of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), will on Saturday August 4, 2018 engage celebrities and other agencies in a novelty football match at the Abuja National stadium by 8am.

NAPTIP an agency set up in 2003 to tackle human trafficking and other related matters in Nigeria is organizing the football encounter specifically to create awareness in kicking out human trafficking in the country.  The footabll match will be between NAPTIP, some celebrities and other agencies.

In a brief chat with the agency's DG, Dame Julie Okah-Donli, the beautiful and cerebral legal luminary said,  “Football being a global game that attracts huge number of people together, we feel the stadium is the right place to take the fight against kicking out human trafficking to, and we are calling on all Nigerians, to join us in this fight. She stated.

Continuing, “That is why we decided to organize this novelty match with Nigeria's esteemed celebrities and other agencies in the country with a view to spreading the kick out human trafficking advocacy. Don't miss it, and there are many prices to be won” she added.

Good wine, they say needs no bush and a good product, according to another axiom, sells itself. To this end, Dr Julie, has no doubt, demonstrated her leadership and administrative acumen since she took over the mantle of leadership of NAPTIP.

Her sterling achievements which have attracted global attentions and accolades speak volumes, thus laying credence to the saying that ‘’ the greatest happiness of the greatest majority is the yard stick for measuring goodness”.
