The attention of the Member representing the good people of Esit Eket-Ibeno State Constituency in the 6th Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Usoro Akpanusoh has been drawn to a fictitious, report published in the social media by the (PROPELLER.)
The report states that (Dr.) Usoro Akpanusoh, a founding/financing member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is among the lists of lawmakers rumoured to defect along with the former Governor of our State, Sen. Goodswill Obot Akpabio to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ordinarily, we won't have considered a refutal to the said publication but, for the purpose of clarity vis-a-vis recent political occurrences, we deem it pertinent to demise the report knowing that it is baseless and false.
Dr. Akpanusoh is currently enjoying the support and mandate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a first term legislator remains a commited member of the (PDP), and hopefully by the grace of Almighty God, he will retain his mandate and support of the party for a second term.
Upon the above, the state lawmaker urged all his supporters within and in the diaspora to remain fervent in believing the Dakkada philosophy for effective representation by seeing the rumour as false.
