16 Osborne Street, Ikoyi still under security surveillance

DATELINE 14TH April 2017: Mum seems to be the word at the co-joined, twin towers on 16 Osborne Street, Ikoyi, the house where the EFCC is said to have found lump sums of money running into several millions of naira, but in foreign currency.

The several storey complex with a pent floor on top, at both sides no doubt convinces any visitor of its luxury and the upper class tastes of its residents: with two flats on each floor, on each side sides of the tall, wide building. The attached, twin tower building glows at night teasing the on-looker as to its exact paint coat.

While one struggles at night to decide the exact coat of paint, the visitor cannot help but notice from outside the major road, the air of luxury around the compound at night.

Two giant sized generators well housed by the fence overlooking the tarred road to meet the power needs of the residents.

From the road, all the flats seem to be fully occupied but as at two days ago neighbours disclosed that a set of mobile police men were brought in by the EFCC to take charge of the security of the compound.

Neighbours also disclosed that the security is water tight as plain clothes security operatives move about the compound working hand in hand with the erstwhile security that was in place before the discovery of the lump sums of monies.

Every movement outside the compound is said to suspiciously noted and watched. EFCC security operatives seems may be there to stay for sometime into the near future.
