Indeed, Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st, the Comedian of
the Federal Republic, needs no introduction. So for the past years, he has
provided entertainment to the people of Nigeria through different platforms such
as comedy shows and the like, with television being his most popular.
Already a house hold name, the Comedian few years ago,
rolled out a tour schedule that will take laughter, happiness and joy around
the country, through his Laffmatazz show.
Laffmatazz, a brand synonymous with comedy and entertainment
in Africa which he created some years ago, initially started as an annual
comedy concert called Laffmatazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and Friends. A show which
he says was borne out of leaving him the virtual space, and the necessity of
taking comedy, in its raw form to the people of Western Nigeria.
A task which he has succeeded in doing, since six years ago
by producing premium comedy entertainment for the people of Ibadan, Osogbo and Abeokuta,
and where he is also known to have entertained over 25,000 people annually, in
the last few years.
This year for an encore, Gbenga Adeyinka says that the
comedy train will move out in a tour to the cities of Ibadan, Abeokuta, Akure
and Ilorin in what is tagged Season 7 which will involve A class Artistes.
Meanwhile, we hear that while the comedian and his team are
still working on corporate sponsorship considerations, the marketers of the
event are already declaring that the event will be a sell out at each of the cities
that will host Laffmatazz Season 7.
