President Bola Tinubu Restores National Theatre, Re-opens it As Wole Soyinka Centre for Arts and Creative Arts

His Excellency,  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commissioned and Re-dedicated the former National Arts Theater, renaming it as Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Lagos.

The event was witnessed by his wife, the First Lady Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, the Governor of Lagos State Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi Lamido, other notable dignitaries, politicians, royal fathers and top government officials.

The 4,000 Capacity Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts came alive with a grand performance, a re creation of legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

A happy President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his speech said that he is proud the project has been successfully completed before the due deadline for today the Independence Day. He thanked the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Bankers Committee and Nigerians in general as the new entire edifice will promote the arts of culture of Africa and the entire world.

Today, we at Paul Ukpabio’s Blog, celebrate President Bola Tinubu, the good people of Nigeria. And we thank the President, for renovating and restoring the former National Arts Theater. This is a new beginning, a new opportunity for the growth of Arts & Tourism in Nigeria, Africa and the entire world.
