Akwa Ibom Gov. sets to Host His Excellency, Amb. Jonathan Ojadah & Other Top Dignitaries

... At the Commissioning Of Capital Projects including the UNIVERSITY OF UYO


The University of Uyo, under the distinguished leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Nyaudo Ndaeyo, welcomes Apostle Dr. Titi-Oluwadare, Global President of TOA Group, alongside His Excellency, Ambassador Dr. Jonathan Marshall Ojada, Global President and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and other eminent members of the diplomatic corps, to the University of Uyo Main Campus from Monday, 29th September 2025 to Sunday, 5th October 2025 on a seven-day official working visit.

The high-powered delegation is to be received in a colorful ceremony that reflects the institution’s tradition of excellence and hospitality. The visit marks a milestone in the history of the University, as it centers on the groundbreaking ceremony of TOA-funded landmark projects, which include:

A 9,000-bed bed space capacity smart hostel for students.

500 luxury housing units for academic and non-academic staff.

A 400-bed capacity three-star hotel to accommodate University guests and visitors.

The Umo Eno Center for Development, a special project dedicated to advancing the capacity, innovation, and leadership skills of the Students’ Union and the student body at large.

Apostle Dr. Titi-Oluwadare, , will reaffirm TOA’s commitment to partnering with institutions like the University of Uyo to raise the standards of academic infrastructure across Africa. His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Jonathan Marshall Ojada will commend the University for its readiness to embrace global partnerships that positively impact the students, staff, and the wider community.

The seven-day official visit features a series of engagements, including meetings with key stakeholders, interactive sessions with students, and further discussions on strengthening collaborations between the University of Uyo, TOA Group, and international development partners.

This visit and groundbreaking ceremony stand as a testimony to the University’s strategic positioning as a center of academic excellence, innovation, and global collaboration.
