FTAN President rejoices with Governor Umo Eno

... Says Supreme Court ruling, a validation of Happy Hour agenda

Nkereuwem Onung,  President Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria(FTAN) has  joined millions of Nigerians to congratulate the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Pastor Umo Eno on the victorious outcome of state's post-election litigation at the Supreme Court.

Onung, who is also the Senior Special Adviser to the governor on Tourism and Culture, described the governor's victory as a critical validation of the Happy Hour agenda of the governor, noting that the undying wave and outburst of celebrations of the judgment in Akwa Ibom and across the country, is a testimony to the acceptance of the validity of rightful votes to which the people of Akwa Ibom gave to confirm the leadership of governor Umo Eno, urging the great people of the state to happily join hands and effectively jump-start the refreshing transformation of the economy, particularly its cultural tourism economy.

In a congratulatory message that he personally signed and released by his media office in Abuja, Mr Nkereuwem Onung expressed his absolute confidence in the ability of the governor to provide the dividend of democracy to the people of the state and in particular in providing tourism jobs to women and youths in the state through effective funding and marketing of the diverse cultural heritage and tourism assets of the land of Promise.

"On behalf of Nigeria tourism industry players and investors, I most sincerely congratulate and rejoice with governor Umo Eno and the good people of Akwa Ibom state and it's my prayer that God will guide, protect and give him the courage to transform the state into a true land of Promise", adding that the supreme Court victory is a bridge successfully crossed to the promised land renowned for its diverse cultural heritage and tourism assets.
