The unnecessary explosion that rocked part of old Bodija is highly regrettable. The State Governor, H.E Engr. Seyi Makinde and other emergency agencies proactive and rapid response is highly commendable. The Governor has given a reassurrance to the citizens. In this season of hardship, carelessness of an individual has been linked to the fatality, injuries and multi-million naira damage to properties in the environment.
At this juncture, it should be drummed to all citizens that vigilance and quick report should be made to necessary authority whenever a security lapse is noticed. It should become our responsibility.
We pray to Almighty God for the reposed of the deceased souls and a speedy recovery to the injured. May peace and tranquility noted with Ibadan reign supreme.
