Come November 25, 2023, all roads in Western Nigeria, will lead to Gbonganland, in Gbongan, Osun State, where the Olufi of Gbonganland, HRM Oba Dr. Adetoyese Oyeniyi Odugbemi I, will install Bashorun Dr. Dele Momodu and wife, Mobolaji Momodu, with the Chieftaincy title of The Akinrogun, and Yeye Akinrogun of Gbonganland.
The official royal letter of notification has been made to the Momodus' and all hands are already on deck to ensure a befitting royal event at the Palace of the Olufi on November 25th.
The event itself falls on Kabiyesi, the King's 25th anniversary.
While receiving the royal notification, Dele Momodu, a former Presidential Candidate of Labour Party and Publisher of Ovation International magazine said that, "this honour is significant to me because Gbonganland is my Mum's ancestral home. I am very grateful to Kabiyesi THE OLUFI OF GBONGANLAND and the good and forward-thinking people of my Mum's ancestral home for their endless love for our family, The great FATOYE family."
