Frontline Oyo State politician, Senator Adesoji Akanbi has expressed his heartwarming felicitations to Speaker Olufemi Hakeem Gbajabiamila CFR, on his new appointment as the Chief of Staff to the new President Bola Tinubu.
Senator Adesoji Akanbi re echoed the words of the President that truly, the choice of Gbajabiamila is ideal and will go a long way to facilitate the new President's good relationship, with the House of Representatives, in the new dispensation.
It will be recalled that, Femi Gbajabiamila has at different times been a minority leader, a majority leader, and has also held the position of the Speaker, of the House of Representatives, which gives him a robust knowledge about governance, which will be useful for President Bola Tinubu.
Akanbi also said that he is not surprised at President Bola Tinubu’s choice, of Gbajabiamila, because both, have had a long cordial relationship over decades, a good point which will enhance the work of the President, since the position is one anchored on trust.
"I congratulate you and offer you best wishes in your new assignment as the Chief of Staff to the President, as you join him to tackle the various problems of the nation, to turn it around to a success story," Akanbi noted.
Though Gbajabiamila had already won a re-election during the 25th February National Assembly election to represent Surulere II Federal constituency of Lagos State, for the 5th time, his choice as the new Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, was announced on Thursday, during a meeting with the service chiefs by the President.
