The federal government has set out to close the runway at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, Lagos State, for 8 long weeks!
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Monday, March 13, 2023, made the move as it intends to carry out its maintenance work.
Meanwhile, FAAN has reiterated its commitment to safety, security, and comfort, which it says remains it's core values.
However, for alternative use:
“Taxi way B-18L will be used for all flight operations,” it said.
