*Highlight of President Buhari's Broadcast on Redesigned Naira Notes*
●President Buhari extends the validity of the old 200 Naira notes for 60 days. The old 200 Naira notes would be released and allowed to circulate along side the new 200 notes for 60 days from February 10 till April 10, 2023.
●The old 500 and 1000 notes are still NOT legal tender.
●The CBN acted in line with the constitution and the CBN Act which confers on the Bank the power to issue legal tender currency.
●He stated that there is a window for individuals to deposit their old notes at the various CBN branches.
