Flights has largely been grounded at the Ikeja local and l international wings of the airport as the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) embarked on strike over salary increment.
Affected, has been huge number of passengers at Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two, (MMA2) Lagos and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, (MMIA) who had scheduled to fly this morning.
This morning, there were no Nahco officials to handle their traditional duties which are amongst others, check-in, boarding and ramp services for several international airlines including Air France/KLM, Qatar, Ethiopian Airlines, Delta Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Turkish Air.
Many airlines are hurriedly making alternative arrangements in order to fly later in the day.
