Amazon Foundation, a non-governmental Organisaution is set to visit the land of Badagry and unearth the nation's rich history and cultural heritage.
The trip to Badagry, tagged , 'Amazon Foundation Excursion 2022 which holds from Friday, August 12 to Sunday, August 14, is one of the three cardinal aims by which the Foundation was set up which is Helping the less priviledged, Appreciation and Celebration of icons both living and dead and Sustainability of History, Tradition and Culture for the benefit of the coming generation
The trip to Badagry led by its founder, Dr (Mrs) Bose Olubo Adegeye will afford members to meet with local government chairmen in the area and attend a program to empower the youth, tagged Badagry Youth Day today
The foundation is scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to the Oba Akran of Badagry, Oba De Whenu Ahonu- Menu- Toyi 1. .
Others places of visit in the 3-day event are the local markets, the oldest church in Badagry and tourist places.
Amazon Foundation which was founded in 2003 have provided succour to hundreds, put smiles on the indigent and orphans with her periodical visit to orphanages and elders' People's Homes among other initiatives. .
