There’s always a good new thing to say about Mrs. Funmi Ajila-Ladipo the President of Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN). And it’s always good news!

The Fashion icon who has over the years mentored and encouraged a huge number of young and not so young people into the fashion industry through her business outfit popularly known as 'Regalia,' recently took a good look at her family, and released all the goodness of her gene into her daughter, and guess what, Funmi Ajila-Ladipo’s daughter just exploded with newer fashion ideas that no one can easily beat!

The ever charming and hardworking Funmi Ajil-Ladipo and her daughter recently unveiled Regalia by Fal and Salewa, a ready-to-wear clothing lines at a glamorous event in Lagos, graced by notable personalities, including the First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi; Ex First Lady of Lagos state and wife of current serving Minister, Dame Abimbola Fashola, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa; Prince Julius Adelusi, and a host of others.

Regalia by FAL and Salewa as well as Ajila Ready-to-Wear were the clothing lines launched at the event, which held at Kona Recreational Hub, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

The event which was anchored by Nigerian gospel singer, Shola Allyson, afforded guests the opportunity to network, shop and enjoy classic cocktail, while feeding their eyes with good designs and buying same.

In recent times as in the past, Mrs. Funmi Ajila-Ladipo has been bringing in different kinds of innovation into the fashion industry that has uplifted a lot of designers and it is not too surprising that her daughter has also caught the ‘fashion designing bug’ and from all that was displayed at the event, Regalia By Fal with Salewa has already found a place high up there! And guests at the event confirmed that the prices are affordable.
