AKWA IBOM STATE LAWMAKER, AKPANUSOH, TRAINS INDIGENES ON HSE LEVEL 1, 2 & 3

In line with the  Akwa Ibom State Safety Commission Bill as proposed by the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Usoro Akpanusoh, today 6th September 2019, presented certificates of Professional competence to some members of his constituency which   he sponsored to acquire HSE Level  1, 2 & 3 Certificates  (Industrial Health Safety and Environment).

While presenting the trainees with their certificates of competence at Salus & Vert Engineering, Ikot Ibiok, Eket LGA, Akpanusoh stated that it is in fulfilment of his  promise to ensure effective representation and to give aide towards ameliorateling poverty in his constituency that he decided to sponsor as many as he could to acquire advanced specialized skills and knowledge in Safety, Pipe Line Welding and Scafolding.

He announced that he will in no distance time sponsor another set to undergo Pipe Line training to equip them with modern safety standard as may be required by Oil Servicing Companies Operating in the State.

He maintained that he will be more focused and dedicated to human capacity development which he said is more effective and lucrative.

He urged them to use their knowledge and skills in Safety to see to the  advancement of safety adherence and regulations at construction sites and  industries.

Some of the trainees which were selected across the the constituency are; Gospel Anietie Pilate, Kingsley Rueben Bassey, Jeremiah Effiong Bassey, Okon Emem Sunday, Jack Titus Etim, Simon Emmanuel Sunday.

The trainees were trained by Salus & Vert Engineering, which is the Training consultants to Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers (NISafetyE). Salus & Vert Engineering is located at Ikot Ibiok in Eket LGA.

Meanwhile, the lawmaker was accompanied by Hon. Ime Robson, Mr. Nsoh Friday Sunday and others.
