The newly elected Speaker of Ekiti State House of
Assembly, Mr. Funminiyi Afuye attended a special Inauguration thanksgiving
service that was held at the prestigious Archbishop Vining Memorial Church
GRA Ikeja, Lagos.
The event was also joined with anniversary of Fountain
for Christ anniversary, an annual usually held and celebrated on Pentecost
Sunday. Mr. Funminiyi Afuye is a member of Fountain for Christ.
In his message for the day, the Bishop of the Church,
Rt. Rev James Odedeji told Afuye, to go and represent the church in his ne
calling. He said further, that the church is proud of him and will keep
supporting him in prayers.
Mr. Funminiyi Afuye was elected on Thursday 6th of June
and he was inaugurated into the Ekiti State Assembly by the Ekiti State
Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi.
