BUHARI IS HAPPY WITH AMBODE, AN ACHIEVER IN LESS THAN 4 YEARS IN OFFICE - BAMIGBADE (BOHM Nat'l CO-ORDINATOR)

Buhari Osinbajo Hope Movement, National Coordinator, Seyi Bamigbade, says he had some qualms when Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode assumed office in Lagos State but is joyful that the governor has been an achiever in the
face of challenges in the 'three and eight months' he has been in office. And I can confirm to you that President Mohammadu Buhari is happy with him.

Seyi spoke at the BOHM 2019 Election Review Summit tagged: In Preparation of 2023 General Election, held in Abuja at the weekend.

He said: “I was anxious when Gov. Ambode took over, not about his integrity, character or ability, but because, however wise or smart a man is, if there are no resources to back the concepts, production would be zero, and progress would be zero.

“When Gov. Ambode took over, we knew he inherited a burden of debt. The debt profile of Lagos was high, I was wondering how he would re-engineer and face the challenges to make progress.

“Today, I can see Ambode's report card; he has scored well, he has shown prudence especially in the use of resources of the state.

“He didn’t disappoint us: in less than 4 years in office, Ambode is silently achieving, faithfully executing and brilliantly giving results for Lagos State.”

According to him, all of Ambode's achievement so far, are a reflection of a very good governor who is a thinker and a doer.

Seyi said that all over Lagos, everyone can see the results. "We all saw what Oshodi, Airport Road was, and how the whole place looks transformed today. The same transformation has taken place in education and health to mention a few,  stating that Lagos has become an on-going construction site.

“Ambode is very quiet, very peaceful achiever, not a noise maker, but he is delivering on the job.

Seyi Bamigbade also commended President Mohammed Buhari for identifying with Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode, and honouring him and the people of Lagos with another official visit. He called on President Muhammadu Buhari, to remember to add Gov. Ambode, the working governor and the achiever, in his  appointment of new ministers.

"We want President Buhari to appoint the best Administrators, those who are fit to move the nation forward.

"It is my optimism and yearning that majority of Nigerians would truly take advantage of the dividends of democracy in the second term of President Buhari's government.

"The president knows the kind of cabinet he wants to constitute. We trust that he will choose the best, the brightest and the fittest to move Nigeria forward.” He added.
