It was an emotional moment for Ethiopian Airlines when the representative of the airline took the stage at the NANTA AGM yesterday in Lagos.

And at the end of it all, Ethiopian Airlines received a tumultuous applause, confirming the confidence Nigerians have in the corporate abilty of the airline in the air.
Below is the speech that received the resounding applause:

It's a great honour to join Our family today. You are the family Ethiopian Airlines has in Nigeria and the Sad event of March 10 proved this bond of Friendship.

On behalf of My Group CEO Mr. Tewolde GabrielMariam  I want to thank the President and the Good people of Nigeria for the condolences we received from The President of Nigeria. While We commiserate with Nigeria on the loss of 2 eminent Citizens among the crash Victims  we are grateful for the support we received from Nigerians. 
   The support and Empathy Ethiopian Airlines received from Nigeria and Nigerians is unprecedented.  You have supported us and Encouraged us all through this trying times.
  I am very Excited that your Association a very Vibrant Association has continued to stand with us.
  I thank NANTA and it's very efficient Executives for the Wonderful job it has been doing in organising the Travel Business in Nigeria.
   We have partnered with NANTA and we will keep Partnering with NANTA into the future.
  I will want to inform you that Ethiopian Airlines is still in Business and we have kept our full Schedule of flying to over 120 cities globally with the most advanced Aircraft and with very Proffessional and experienced Pilots. Ethiopian Airlines has very high Safety Standards with one of the Biggest Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Africa and the best Aviation Training school in Africa.
 We are one of  the few Airlines in the world  with Simulators for almost all the Aircraft we fly.
   We have kept our promise of giving Africa the Best as we link Africa to the World.
  Ethiopian Airlines will continue to Serve and defend Africa and we count on the Support of all Africans.
   Once again I want to thank NANTA and it's members for always giving us the best.
  Personally I  thank the Able President and his team who visited our Office to personally convey their condolences. It is well Appreciated.
