ITESIWAJU IPINLE EKO VANGUARD HAILS AMBODE'S SPORTSMANSHIP

Lagos Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode with Mr. Seyi Bamigbade

Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard, major support group of Lagos State Governor , Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has lauded the governor for displaying the spirit of sportsmanship in supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship flag bearer in Lagos State Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The Lagos State Coordinator of the group, Mr. Seyi Bamigbade who stated this at a new yam festival celebration of Ibo residents in Lagos held in the state said by congratulating the winners  of APC direct primary election in Lagos, the governor has affirmed his loyalty to the party and it's Leadership.

Bamigbade said the group believes so much in the governor's ability to deliver Lagos state for the party and ensure hitch-free free emergence of the party's candidate Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the next governor of the state.

" You see APC is one big family blessed with very credible leaders led by our indefatigable Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu. 'The governor has demonstrated his loyalty to the party and leaders by congratulating Mr. Sanwolu and promised  ensure the party wins the state in 2019 general election. That is the spirit of sportsmanship we are talking about.

"The governor Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has done his beat. Government is a continuous process. You can see the massive infrastructural development he carried out across the state.  His successor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu will focus on other sectors. By the grace of God we will all join the governor and mobilize for him as well. We have been mobilizing for the governor to win the 2019 poll with five million votes. Now that the  party has settled for Sanwo-Olu and the governor and party are all working together APC will win Lagos easily."

Bamigbade salute the first lady of the state Dame Bolanle Ambode for the noble role she played in ensuring the recent apprehension the party witnessed before the party's primary was immediately doused.

"The first lady Mrs.  Ambode is a God fearing person and always praying for  peace in the state. I think God answered her prayers and what we have in the state right now is absolute peace. People that thought the primary election will tear the party apart in the state have been disappointed, " he said.
