Otunba Olusegun Runsewe (2nd left) with Gambian official and winners of a holiday in Gambia.
It was 'Gambia Day' today at AKWAABA and trust the Gambians, they represented their country very well with a high powered delegation made up of the Gambia High Commissioner to Nigeria, Head of the Tourism board in Gambia and other travel and tourism stake holders from the Gambia. And they unanimously, threw an open invitation to Nigerians to visit the Gambia. It's visa-free!

With open arms, the DG of National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe was informed of a ready reception awaiting him in Gambia when he decides to visit with a Nigerian delegation or entourage.

It was a good day for many stands at AKWAABA today, one of such stands was 'Southern Sun.' The hotel stand was busy all through the day, attracted lots of visitors who wanted to know more about the hotel services and how they can have the 'Southern Sun' hospitality experience.

And there were awards to be picked up. Several travel organizations and tour operators won awards. And networking was the order of the day.

Tomorrow promises to be another great day for AKWAABA as Air Namibia will give away tickets and gifts to many lucky visitors to their stand. We hear there will also be other side attractions apart from the exhibition.

See you there!
